Our range of insulated panels all come with an insulation core that has been bonded to the top and bottom steel skins at the manufacturer's factory in Brisbane. The insulated core options offer different fire performance properties enabling you to select the panel that best suits the roof requirement at your property.

4 insulated panel core options
Expanded Polystyrene Fire Retardant (EPS-FR)
EPS-FR is available for TRIM, CORRO, TRIM-TRIM and CORRO-CORRO profile insulated roof panels. EPS-FR has an added fire-retardant additive that allows the core to shrink away from any flame source. EPS-FR core allows for strong, light weight panels that are very cost effective in a variety of residential applications.
Thermosetting Phenolic Composite (TPC)
TPC is available for TRIM, CORRO, TRIM-TRIM and CORRO-CORRO profile insulated roof panels. The panels have been certified as meeting the requirements of Group 1 classification in accordance with AS 5367.1.2015. Furthermore, they have undergone AS 1530-1999 Early Fire Hazard Properties. The TPC core panels combine long spanning with excellent thermal performance.
DualCore (DC)
DC is available for TRIM and CORRO profile insulated roof panels. The unique positioning combination of Expanded Polystyrene Fire Retardant Grade (EPS-FR) and Mineral Wool (MW) to make the dual core allows the finished panel to retain the structural and aesthetic benefits of insulated panels, while still conforming to non-combustibility requirements outlined in Part 3 of the NCC 2022 – Volume Two.
Mineral Wool (MW)
MW is available for TRIM profile insulated roof panels and is the only available core material that is non-combustible. It meets all performance requirements in accordance with section C1.9 Non-combustible building elements of the National Construction Code 2022. Furthermore, it has undergone AS 1530-1999 Early Fire Hazard Properties and Flameguard FRL system testing.
