MAX paint finish for insulated panels
The MAX paint finish is a steel substrate product designed to deliver exceptional corrosion resistance in demanding environments. Developed for long-term durability, it provides enhanced protection against the effects of moisture, salt exposure and other corrosive elements that can impact the performance of building materials over time.

Available across a wide range of insulated roofing and walling panels, MAX offers a reliable solution for projects where superior corrosion protection is required. Its versatility makes it suitable for both residential and commercial applications, helping to maintain the appearance and integrity of building envelopes.​
​One of the key advantages of MAX is its suitability for severe marine environments. Areas exposed to salt-laden air can place significant stress on construction materials, making corrosion resistance an important consideration during the design and specification process.

The product is particularly well suited to properties located near the coastline, canal waterways and saltwater swimming pools. In these environments, exposure to airborne salt particles can accelerate corrosion, making the enhanced protection offered by a MAX finish especially beneficial.
A distinguishing feature of the product is its substantial 275-gram protective coating, which provides a significantly higher level of protection than many comparable steel substrate products. This coating helps extend service life while reducing the risk of corrosion-related deterioration.

The protective coating consists of 240 grams of MagnaFlow and 35 grams of pretreatment, working together to create a highly durable barrier against environmental exposure. In addition to being available for insulated roofing and walling panel profiles, the MAX corrosion-resistant steel substrate can also be specified for compatible flashings, providing consistent protection throughout the building system.
